Child Friendly Policies

At our Hasland Junior School, pupil voice is vital in creating a vibrant and inclusive learning environment. Every child has unique perspectives and ideas that contribute to our child friendly policies. We encourage all pupils to share their thoughts, during class discussion, ensuring everyone has a sense of ownership and responsibility in shaping our school community. These ideas are gathered by our School Council Representatives, who play a vital role in collating and refining these suggestions. The School Council then work collaboratively to draft the policies, ensuring that every voice is valued. These policies are shared in assemblies, making sure that everyone is informed. Additionally, these expectations are displayed around the school, providing a constant reminder of the positive atmosphere we want to create in our school.
